Be amazed by the results – vapor blasting is the best method for restoring motorcycle parts, leaving them even cleaner than when they originally left the factory! WHAT IS VAPER BLASTING? Similar to metal polishing, anodizing or plating, vapor blasting is a finishing process. Water, micro beads, mild cleaning agents and air create a slurry that is propelled at a high speed onto the surface of your aluminum, brass and mild steel parts. The process seals the surface, resulting in cosmetic enhancements that impart a micro finish which helps resist further staining and oxidation. Aluminum castings in particular are well suited for vapor blasting. WHY VAPER BLAST? Only vapor blasting preserves the original sand-cast texture and sheen of your part, as the mixture used is too soft to take away any metal. All other dry blasting methods will etch surfaces and leave microscopic pits and embedded glass or mineral particles, abrading the surface texture and rounding sharp corners – leaving a surface that is scoured smooth, but not authentic.
